Everyone on the same cue.
Your flying plot and cue sheet, kept live, so the rail and the prompt corner never disagree.
FlyCue does not call
your show.
The warn, the standby and the GO come from the prompt corner, over the cans, exactly as they always have. Nothing on a screen is a trigger and nothing on a screen replaces the headset.
What FlyCue does is keep everyone on the same cue. When the call comes, the rail, the deck and the prompt corner are already looking at the same line of the same sheet. The operator still works on the SM's GO. Never on a screen.
Every fly department runs on two pieces of paper.
A plot of what is on every bar, and a cue sheet of what moves and when. Both are correct exactly once: the moment they come off the printer.
FlyCue is those same two documents, kept live. Change a dead at the production desk and it is on the rail before you put the pen down.

Preset
The stack, in running order.
The same columns the sheet on your rail already has, in the same order you call them.
- Decimal cue numbers
- Insert FLY Q7.5 at the dress and nothing after it renumbers. The book on the rail stays the book on the rail.
- Presets and dividers
- Four bars moving as one cue reads as one cue. Acts and scene breaks sit as dividers you can jump straight to.
- Bar, item, action, speed
- Which line set, what is on it, IN or OUT, and how fast it travels. DEAD marks the ones that hold position through a busy sequence.
- Operator per move
- Every cue is assigned. Filter the sheet to one name and nobody reads past four cues that are not theirs.
- Scene, moment and notes
- Where you are in the show, and the warnings that matter: wait for clear, confirm the loom, coordinate with the deck.
- Edit history
- Who changed which dead, and when. A cue sheet nobody can account for is not much use at 11pm on a tech day.
What that actually looks like on a show.
Button Mode: a phone with two buttons on it, and nothing else
The operator on the rail gets GO and BACK the size of their hand. No cue list to scroll past, nothing to knock mid show. The link saves to the home screen and opens straight into it, so there is no setup at the half.
Kiosk: a spare monitor anyone can read
Join by show code with no account and land in a locked display. Watch only. Nothing to touch by accident.
Import the venue's hanging plot instead of retyping it
Upload the PDF the house sent you and FlyCue reads the table out of it, scanned or photographed. Anything over its working load limit is flagged on the way in.
Paperwork that remembers what you swung
Compare the show against the venue's standard rig and print what has to go back, bar by bar. Generated from the plot, not from memory at 1am.
Run it from the keyboard.
Whoever is holding the book should not be hunting for a button. Once a show is loaded the whole thing works off the keys, the same ones every time, on every tab.
It still prints. That was never optional.
Generated from the live show, so the copy on the wall says when it was run off and matches what the crew is looking at. The cue sheet can be filtered to one operator, so nobody reads past four cues that are not theirs.
